Creating a fairer society by
putting people first
Councillor Les Sibley
Welcome to my website. I am very pleased that my work as a local Labour Party councillor is of interest to you.
I aim to provide the latest information about issues that concern our community on this website and to provide a means of contacting me easily with your views - please see the " Tell me what you think" page.
Throughout the many years in my role as a local Oxfordshire County, Cherwell District and Bicester Town Councillor as well as the former local Parliamentary Candidate for the Banbury constituency in 2001 and 2005 general elections. I have shown that I am committed to listening carefully to the people I represent, thereby fighting hard for the things that matter most to all the people, not just the privileged few. I believe in putting people first so that we can create neighbourly communities, where individual responsibility and caring towards one another, helps to build a fairer society.
I am currently seeking nomination to represent the Banbury, Bicester and North Oxfordshire Villages as the Labour Party candidate at the next general election and these are the principles that I will continue to uphold if I am selected. Click here to read more.
